On Friday, February 13, our community showed up in full sparkle for a high-vibe celebration of friendship, laughter, and winter magic under the Gardiner. After a long January, neighbours gathered at The Bentway Skate Trail for an evening that proved love isn’t just for partners — it’s for friends, chosen family, and the women who show up for you all year long.

From DJ Shane spinning feel-good tracks to pop-up performances from Hoop You, cozy patio catch-ups, and a sea of skaters (graceful and wobbly alike), the energy was pure joy. With free skate rentals, bundled-up dance breaks, and swag bags flying out the door, the night was a reminder that winter in the city can feel warm when community takes centre stage.
