 Back-to-School BBQ and Backpack Giveaway! Organized by the Canoe Landing Community Centre and proudly sponsored by the CityPlace and Fort York BIA, this event was a perfect way to kick off the new school year. The day was brimming with excitement, laughter, and community spirit as families came together to enjoy delicious food and gear up for the academic year ahead.

A standout moment was the distribution of backpacks filled with essential school supplies, ensuring students had the tools they needed for success. Smiles lit up the day as kids delighted in receiving their new gear. The fun didn’t stop there—face painting, jumping castles, and games added to the festive atmosphere.
